Blessings are opportunities that are often disguised as challenges for you to overcome before you can access what it is you want to achieve.

A while ago I wrote about my move to this new country. To be more precise, I moved from Europe to come and live in Uk, London. I must admit I fall in love with the city over and over again every single day. My first months here weren’t all smooth and ease although my move here happened in a blink of an eye.
I had a lot to prove, a lot to achieve and had to start all over, friends-wise, relationship-wise and career-wise. I often came across big walls of great challenges, and it has happened a few times that I thought well it’s been well but I’m tired of pushing, let’s just give up and look for the easy way out.
If you ever took a 180-degree turn of change of direction you probably understand what I’m trying to say. Starting a new page in your life isn’t always easy but starting a new chapter is a whole other story.
But although the challenges keep on occurring in my journey, I’ve noticed that every time I don’t give in to my fears of not be able to make it and my will to give up; I often manage to achieve great things, bigger and greater things than I ever thought were in my reach.
Today as the journey keeps on unfolding its self, I keep encountering challenges but I’ve gotten more comfortable in my quest and know now that every challenge is only a stepping stone that allows me to get to the next chapter.
You see sometimes we are fed up with the battles and challenges that life throws at us and we sit and complain that life should be one smooth line. But if that was the case, there will be no great achievers. The differences between those who stagnate and those who reach higher is the fact that the second group don’t give up when they encounter challenges while the first group let those challenges beat them and stop the growth of their journey.
Trust me, your ability to achieve what it is that you want has nothing to do with your capacity. Unless you see a capacity as a the unbeatable will to keep on pushing no matter the circumstances until you get what it is that you want. Never believe that success is a baggage given by birth and that if you didn’t receive this by birth you can’t grow and be successful. Success is the accumulation of your will to not give up when the things gets difficult.
So wherever you are you in your journey, if you are a single parent, self-employed trying to launch that company, or employed and encountering challenges in your current position or… know that those challenges and difficulties you encounter now, once you’ve overcome them, once you’ve passed the test, you will not only never have to face them again, but also overcoming those challenges will be the stepping stone you need to get to your next level.
I’m still figuring out how this all goes but one thing I know for sure is that life is a journey full of lessons and it’s only when you learn the lesson that is presented to you often through a challenge that you can move on to the next step in your life. If you don’t learn what you have to learn, you will have to redo the test over and over again.
So open yourself up, push forward, learn what it is that the challenge in front of you is trying to teach you so that you can move to the next level and eventually become and achieve what you always wanted to be.
